The Noyes Museum held their monthly educational wine tasting in conjunction with White Horse Wine and Spirits. The goal to these tastings is to help consumers increase their knowledge about wine while surrounded by extraordinary art. This months wine tasting theme was New Wines for the New Year. All the wines tasted were geared towards wines and regions that many may not have tried before. This months wines were Quinta Avelada, Vinho Verde, Domaine de Pajot, white blend, Santa Digna, Reserve Syrah, and Tabernero, Borgona. Each month a local charity is chosen to donate the profits to help support these great endeavors. This month the charity was “On the Go Cafe a Family of 5” which is a charity that helps children with Autism and ADHD learn social and emotional skills that will help them in their future. John, Tressa and their three children, Trevis, Justus, and Vicotry formulated this program to help their children learn how to transition and self regulate in different environments, and settings. The personalized training is unique to the children’s individual needs, which aids in teaching social and communication skills, eye contact, problem solving, how to apply and use common sense, team work, organizational skills, critical thinking and much more. A wonderful evening in support of a wonderful charity.
