Absecon helps support the on-going fight against Breast Cancer
The City Of Absecon’s Community Affairs Committee has enthusiastically chosen a most worthy and caring project to support. The Breast Cancer Awareness Memorial/Honor Bench is a pink four foot powder coated steel offering. It includes a 4” x 6 in Stainless Engraving Plaque, and is designed with two white ribbons to help reinforce the on-going fight against breast cancer. The providing company will also donate $50.00 for each bench purchased.
Our community has become acquainted with many families, friends, co-workers, and neighbors who, in some way, have been affected by this terrible disease. In order to pay sincere respect to our loved ones, we are asking for donations from the community to purchase the bench. Money left over will be donated to Gilda’s Club. We plan to place this notable bench in a very visible area so that it can be seen by all.
Along with donations, we are asking for wording suggestions for the engraving of the plaque. Recognizing that it takes a community to complete this project, please mail your genuine donations to the City Of Absecon Community Affairs Committee.
