Galloway Mayor Don Purdy hosted a Red Cross blood drive today at his auto body shop off the White Horse Pike along with his blood drive event partner, Ed Kline, of Kline Construction.  Ed Kline and Don Purdy both gave blood today at their second annual “Galloway Blood Drive”.  Red Cross member Tom Guion told the Galloway Patriot that they were pleased with the great turn-out.

Galloway’s Mayor, Don Purdy, stated that he was happy to have a facility capable of handling a blood drive event.  The Mayor said that the summer months are of greater concern due to the Red Cross’ low blood supply during the summer months. The Mayor feels that this is a great way to give back to the community and also build inventory at the blood bank.
