Magnus Mud Run 2012 A Big Success

The Galloway Patriot’s Magnus Mud Run was a huge success. Hundreds of Galloway Children ran the confidence course which was free to all 3 to 8 year olds. Everyone had a great time and children built confidence while having fun. The Fire Dept was on hand to wash the children down as they finished and Stockton College students were at the run to assist children through the obstacles.

The Knutson family and the Galloway Patriot staff would like to extend a big thank you to everyone that helped, the Cicarelli famil from Goodfellows Restaurant, family friend Joe McCarraher who helped build the obstacles, Beth and Jen from Galloway Community Services were a huge help, Checkers Auto Customizing for materials and build assistance, Galloway Public Works provided the dirt for the mud pit, Home Depot of Absecon donated some lumber, the Galloway Fire Dept did a great job as always helping mix the mud and providing even more excitement for the kids and Dorsey Construction helped with final assmembly.

Every child that ran the course received a completion certificate signed by Galloway Mayor, Don Purdy, Deputy Mayor Tony Coppallo, and The entire Knutson Family, Publishers of the Galloway Patriot.

We hope to be doing another soon. Thanks to all the children and parents for coming out and having fun.
