Dave has more than 30 years of professional experience ranging from civil engineering and project management to executive administration, having served as Galloway president since 2006. Dave has worked extensively in the areas of project feasibility, site selection, site planning, entitlement assistance, client representation at public meetings and hearings, site design, grading and drainage studies, stormwater management, utility design and studies, permit coordination, and regulatory analysis.
Dave received his bachelor of science in civil engineering in 1988 from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Carl offers 25 years of expertise in land development. His areas of emphasis have ranged from site feasibility, due diligence, and land entitlement approvals to general site engineering and project management. Carl has been instrumental in building some of Galloway’s most successful client relationships; and as a client manager, he continually strives to provide the highest level of service and dedication to projects.
Carl is highly active in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and received his Certified Retail Property Executive (CRX) designation in 2013 and is also a Certified Development, Design and Construction Professional (CDP). He is a former ICSC State Operations Chair for Colorado/Wyoming and is a former co-chair for the Program Planning Committee for the ICSC Rocky Mountain Chapter.
Carl received a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the Colorado School of Mines along with a minor in environmental science in 1993, and in 1998 he graduated from the Leeds School of Business “50 for Colorado” program. In 2001, Carl received his master’s in business administration from the University of Colorado, Denver. Kristoffer has provided innovative design solutions for 20 years and offers a wide variety of past project exposure for a variety of development projects nationwide. As the director of architecture, he provides design oversight for site planning, building design and project construction, and he brings a high level of attention, enthusiasm, and expertise to projects. Kristoffer is highly regarded for his ability to work with clients and teams in order to move past challenges and provide the highest quality design solution that is differentiated from competitors. His notable Colorado retail projects include Streets at SouthGlenn, Cornerstar, Promenade at Denver West, 1000 S. Colorado, and Webster Lake Promenade. Kristoffer provided design services for Promenade at Castle Rock, Aurora Metro Station, and the redevelopment of Westminster Promenade.

Dave offers nearly 30 years of engineering design experience. Dave’s area of expertise is in fuel facility designs, including coordination with state and municipal authorities for zoning, planning, and building permits; above ground and underground tanks for bulk storage plants, airport FBO, retail facilities, and private fleet fueling; emergency generators; and preparation of Spill, Prevention, Control and Countermeasures Plans (SPCCP’s). Dave is also highly experienced in site development, including site layouts; grading; drainage studies; utility design and detention facilities; public street and utility design; and electrical, HVAC, and plumbing design.

Lyle offers more than 38 years of comprehensive surveying experience, including topographic, boundary, photogrammetry, right-of-way, ALTA, route surveys, FEMA certificates, subdivision plats, and construction staking. He has also performed well monitoring surveys, small dam design surveys, land survey plats, final plats, and GPS-GIS control surveys and has written legal descriptions. As the survey manager for Galloway, Lyle oversees staff and projects, manages survey crews, coordinates with clients and outside consultants, and prepares project schedules and budgets.

Tasha offers nearly 15 years of experience in coordinating public and private commercial development projects through regulatory approval processes, with particular emphasis on site investigations, feasibility studies, and case management. She also represents and advises clients to secure development entitlements and permitting, and she prepares project time lines and coordinates with internal and external design teams to accomplish permitting and construction schedules.
Additionally, Tasha leads collaborative efforts between community neighborhood organizations, developers, and political approval authorities to meet development objectives, while facilitating problem solving and dispute settlement on individual development cases utilizing judgment skills required to balance legal concerns of regulatory code restraints with economic development needs of the developer. She offers extensive knowledge as well as highly effective communication and coordination capabilities.

Jim Child, AIA, LEED AP, has over 40 years of architectural design experience. He has exceptional technical, management, and design skills working interactively with corporate, institutions, and government clients on numerous types of projects. Jim has been instrumental in designing and coordinating complex government and justice projects involving multi-dependent security systems while unifying varied and diverse user groups. He also has extensive experience and understanding of the architectural requirements of public services facilities. Jim is hands-on in his work efforts, which provides a well-organized and efficient project.
Jim is a registered architect in Utah, Colorado, Nevada, California, Washington, and Wyoming. Jim offers more than 25 years of experience in drafting and developing standard electrical details, with emphasis on fuel facility design, for local and national clients. Jim is one of the country’s few site lighting design professionals, and is certified by General Electric, Cree and LSI Industries. In addition to photometric design, Jim’s experience also includes assisting with creating, cataloging, and managing fueling standards for large, national retailers as well as in-house collaboration regarding site development layout of conceptual site plans.

Christian Michaelson, senior civil project manager/regional manager for Galloway & Company, Inc. offers more than 15 years of experience in civil engineering and land development. As Galloway’s Salt Lake City regional manager, Christian is responsible for team coordination and management, client relations and coordination, mentoring staff, and business development efforts. Additionally, Christian supports project management with extensive experience in industrial, commercial, and residential site design, and he offers an extensive background in roadway design, contract administration, materials testing and inspection, CAD drafting, and geographic information systems.

Previously the owner of Finish Grade Engineering, he is now the regional office manager for Galloway’s office in Pleasant Grove, UT. Clients appreciate that Boyd keeps their goals at the forefront as he integrates their project requirements into the plans and specifications. Additionally, Boyd brings a public perspective to his projects, having served on the Bluffdale City Council from 2016 to 2020. Rob has worked much of his career in northern Colorado and now manages Galloway’s Loveland office.

With more than 35 years of experience in federal construction projects, Rob leads Galloway’s business development efforts in the federal market while providing extensive knowledge in construction contract administration, auditing, procurement, quality control, design review, and value engineering. With long ties to the military along the Front Range, including a tour in Iraq during Desert Storm with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rob will be working alongside many of the contractors and design firms in the area to help assist with federal design work. His wide range of federal experience is valuable to Galloway in the ever-growing federal marketplace. Rob is headquartered in Galloway’s Colorado Springs office as he focuses his efforts on the design needs of our military. As this sector grows, his actions will encompass other federal agencies.

Terra provides 15 years of project management, civil engineering, surveying, and environmental compliance experience in the California market. Terra is a critical liaison between developers, architects, municipalities, and contractors, effectively advocating clients’ needs and goals. As an environmental compliance specialist, Terra is also knowledgeable of regulations involving the California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB), San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD), and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

Joe offers 18 years of professional experience in roadway and infrastructure experience as well as commercial site development. As a senior civil project engineer, Joe designs and reviews plans and coordinates with clients, planners, architects, and engineers as well as municipal, county, and state officials to design and build retail land development projects from planning through construction. Joe also supervises the preparation of all plans, specifications, and consultant reports (geotechnical, environmental, utility, etc.) related to his projects.

Jon brings 17 years of experience with an excellent record delivering development and construction management projects ranging from large-scale subdivisions to small-scale infill developments, commercial projects, campus facilities, and public improvement projects. Jon excels at building and maintaining solid relationships. He also provides team leadership through experience and mentoring in project life integrity, design strategy, and overall fluid and thorough compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Jon graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in landscape architecture and is licensed in Colorado. He is a member of ASLA Colorado, the Colorado Springs Home Builders Association.

With 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Mark excels at making industry connections and building relationships while championing Galloway in the marketplace. With extensive experience on the contractor side of the construction industry, Mark offers valuable insight into all stages of the development process. This helps him successfully identify client needs and effectively apply Galloway’s comprehensive services to development projects. Additionally, Mark drives Galloway’s business development by leading efforts to define and pursue new markets as well as facilitating Galloway’s responsiveness to emerging opportunities.
Mark earned his BS in construction management from Colorado State University in 1988 as well as his MA in counseling from Denver Seminary in 1996. He is a LEED accredited professional, an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and holds memberships in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver (HBA).

Jeff provides engineering and entitlement services to Galloway’s clients, guiding them through various permitting processes. Jeff’s 26 years of engineering and site development experience includes site planning, entitlement assistance, site design, grading, drainage design studies, stormwater management, utility design, studies, permitting coordination, and regulatory agency analysis. He has completed design projects for multinational corporations, including restaurants, retail-anchored big-box shopping centers, junior box retail, grocery centers, small retail, early childhood learning centers, and fueling facilities.

He plays a key role in Galloway’s strategic and annual planning, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and process development and refinement. John utilizes his 18 years of business experience to develop processes and cost saving practices, as well as build relationships. John received his MA in Accountancy from Miami University, Oxford, OH.
