Galloway’s Annual National Night Out

Galloway’s K9 Unit puts on an intense exhibition

Galloway’s Annual National Night Out was again a huge hit. On August 1st Galloway residents, businesses, police, fire, and ambulance squads came together on the field by Patriot Lake for a fun evening of demonstrations by Galloway K9 and Atlantic County Swat team, helicopters that put out fires and helicopters that medivac people to hosipitals, fire trucks, giveaways, bouncies, basketball games, pony rides, big slides, food, live music and so much more. A sense of community was felt through the night air as the people of Galloway gathered for a wonderful event in support of all our public safety officers. To conclude this wonderful evening Chief of Police Donna Higbee fired the Last Salute / Galloway Patriot cannon, “The Jaime Lee”, to signal the wrap up the evenings festivities. Many people went home with bags full of free giveaways, raffle baskets that they won, and a smile on their face. Job well done Galloway!
