The Galloway Tradition Continues! On Saturday December 2, the annual Santa breakfast in Galloway had a great turnout. This year the event, held at Assumption Regional Catholic School, where Mickey, Minnie, and a full staff of school volunteers greeted the families. Each table had coloring pages, crayons, as well as a letter and envelopes for the children to write to Santa. Around the room were craft stations for the children to make snowmen ornaments, reindeer food and a mailbox for letters to Santa. Performances by Dance Forum South got families in the mood while they enjoyed their breakfast. Atlantic City Ballet had dancers in costume from their upcoming performance of the Nutcracker walking around and getting little ones up to dance. Songs sung by Mrs. Cleveland filled the room with joy as Santa and Mrs. Claus made their way around the room greeting everyone before heading up to the stage where a beautiful Christmas scene was set up to have family photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Each child walked away with a bag with a nutcracker ornament, candy cane and much more. A great time had by all and the volunteers from Assumption are already looking forward to planning next years. If you missed this year’s then you will definitely need to put it on the calendar of things to do in December 2018.
