state champion finalists and won fifth place overall in the state of New Jersey.
WInning individual awards for Absegami were Claire Dell Priscoli and Courtney Jones,
who finished in fifth place and third place in After Dinner Speaking as well as Billy Platt
and Bart Machula, who finished in fifth place and second place in Impromptu Speaking.
Forensics team coach Chip Garrison was very proud of his team. “We only had thirteen
individual finalists and only fourteen team members overall, going against schools like
Mainland who had over 50 team members,” said Garrison. “For us to finish with fifth in
the state is a great achievement by everyone on the team.”
